About

The Windrush Warriors is a new comedy-drama play set in a community centre that is home to a colourful array of diverse characters. Based on true lives and events, the play is a hilarious and life-affirming story of four pensioners' fight for justice, dignity and equality. It's a story of how people in their golden years come together to fight adversity with warrior like ferocity.
There will be time for a short Q&A after the show.
Tickets £10 please email museumevents@stoke.gov.uk call 01782 232 323 or contact Robbie from Windrush Generation to book. 7.30 – 10pm, bar opens at 6pm. This event is made possible with support from National Lottery and The Living City Heritage seed project.
