The Grade II listed Stoke Town Hall is a beautiful historic Victorian building in the heart of Stoke-on-Trent, and the largest town hall within the city, dating back to 1834.
Stoke Town Hall has played an important role throughout the city’s history and has hosted countless prestigious events, including numerous Freedom of the City ceremonies, Royal visits from home and abroad as well as iconic music concerts including The Beatles, The Who, ACDC and the infamous Northern Soul all-nighters. Now, we are ready to be part of your story, making your special day the next momentous occasion that we play witness to.
Wedding ceremonies at Stoke Town Hall
We are proud to host all types of wedding celebrations, including traditional weddings, multi-cultural weddings, Jewish and Asian ceremonies, same sex ceremonies and the renewal of vows.
Our beautiful prestigious Victorian venue can host Wedding ceremonies within the Register Office or the Queen Elizabeth II room.
The Register Office is perfect for small intimate ceremonies where the couple and 2 witnesses are permitted. Standalone ceremonies can be conducted in the beautifully restored Queen Elizabeth II room. The room includes original features and elegant decor, making it perfect for your marriage or civil partnership ceremony. In addition to the couple, it holds up to 60 guests including babies and children.

Wedding receptions at Stoke Town Hall
Wedding receptions can be held within Stoke Town Hall in the majestic Kings Hall and Jubilee Hall.
The Kings Hall is a grand impressive room with stained glass windows and ornate ceilings and can accommodate up to 400 guests including a dancefloor – perfect for larger weddings.
If you’re looking to make a grand entrance, then the Jubilee Hall could be just what you’re looking for with the impressively restored Crush Hall entrance; a beautiful, elegant staircase leading up to the room; and outstanding stained-glass windows to provide the perfect backdrop for impressive wedding day photos. The Jubilee Hall can accommodate up to 150 for a wedding breakfast.
