The Emma Bridgewater Factory lies in the heart of the historic Stoke-on-Trent Potteries, in a sunny Victorian factory on the banks of the Caldon Canal. Join us on a fascinating behind-the-scenes factory tour, try your hand at decorating a piece of your very own unique pottery, relax for lunch in our beautiful kitchen, or indulge in our famous afternoon tea for a memorable and special day out.

Factory Tours
See behind the scenes on our fascinating and award-winning factory tour and discover how our handmade pottery is created using heritage skills and decorated in with signature sponge decorating technique.
Booking in advance is required. Tours available: Mon, Tues, Thurs & Friday at 10am. Tours lasts approximately one hour. Available to all over 5 years.
Emma Bridgewater Experience Days
Book the ultimate Emma Bridgewater experience and discover behind the scenes of our Victoria Factory where you’ll learn how we hand make our pottery using traditional skills, including our signature sponge decorating technique, followed by a session in the Decorating Studio to create your own masterpiece, then indulge in our famous Afternoon Tea, or book a Breakfast Experience Day.
Booking in advance is required here. Experience Days available Mondays to Fridays Age 5+ and above
Decorating Studio
Decorate a really special present or design your own unique pattern in our colourful and inspiring Decorating Studio. Simply book a time slot and pay our studio fee to reserve your table then choose a pottery piece to decorate when you arrive. Ideal for all ages, our friendly and knowledgeable staff are on to help with tips and tricks. Visit our website to find out more.

Cafe
Serving delicious homecooked food, often inspired by Emma Bridgewater’s own recipes, our cosy cafe is a lovely place to meet with family or friends and relax over a delicious, home cooked lunch or enjoy tea and cakes. Booking not required – apart from for Afternoon Tea. Open daily.

From the M6, exit at junction 15 or 16. Then come off the A500 at Stoke and onto the A52 Leek Road. Lichfield Street is on the A50 near The City Centre.
