About

Tamil Arts UK Parai Drumming workshop is designed to encourage participants discover the beauty of the parai drumming and have fun with this traditional percussion instrument! Known as the "Mother" of all percussion instrument, the parai is a significant symbol in Tamil culture. This workshop will provide a rich and holistic experience where participants can learn to express themselves with this instrument while learning its history. Suitable for 10+. All Parai drums and sticks will be provided as part of the workshop. Time 11am. Free
