To commemorate the closing ceremony for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, we will be hosting a special free event in Hanley Park from 1pm until 5pm on Monday 8 August.

Here's what is happening -

BeeActive Colour Runs - 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm

Facilitated sports in the sport courts from Engage Communities

Performances including the Blue Girl

'Where's Perry?' - Find the Commonwealth Games mascot in Hanley Park

Drumming Workshop from 1:20pm - 5pm

Football freestyler demonstrations from Ben Nuttall on the 3G pitch between 3pm and 3:30pm

Arts & crafts plus a DJ!

 

Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games

Birmingham is hosting the 2022 Commonwealth Games starting on 28 July.

To mark the occasion, the Queen’s Baton Relay visited cities across England bringing together local communities on its journey.

Stoke-on-Trent welcomed the Queen’s Baton to the city on Monday 18 July.
