For those couples who prefer to have a simple but solemn Marriage ceremony or Civil Partnership formation, the Superintendent Registrar’s office is available for such bookings on Tuesdays and are held from 2.00pm – 4.30pm.

Only the couple plus one legal witness each are permitted to attend.  Unfortunately, it is not possible to accommodate babies, children, extra guests or photographers.

The booking fee is £30 and the statutory ceremony/formation fee is £46. 

Please note that the Superintendent Registrar’s Office is located within Stoke-on-Trent Register Office which is a working office and which customers attend throughout the day for various appointments.
